Condition of the pen :

Pre-owned  and used,  clean appearance with some  tear of wear of usage. the pen is perfectly working.  No damage to pen , no dents on the barrel. writes between fine ~ medium point with no feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel.  No holding mark around barrel

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-     snug screw fitting,  no loose parts
Converter/ink filler  to  nib section fitting :-    Snug fit, barrel screw in perfect condition, no ink leaking
Scratches :-    No deep or projected scratches. Pen has few hairline marks  on barrel and the cap , from previous ownership.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-     no dents on barrel or cap.
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap. Further on loop inspection we found no deep lines on barrel or ection. still consider some hairline marks which is fair considering the the age and usage.
Colour :-   Barrel colour is still clear, no fading or heavy brassing on cap is  seen. overall clean color appearance.
Cap :-       Snug fit.  screw cap is checked for grip  while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-        Fine original sheaffer triumph  14K gold nib is in place,  nib writes  smooth,
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing, due to cap weight.

 

Restoration details

We have done Zero replacements on this pen.  Pen is in original condition as received from the previous owner, and the previous owner didnt modify this pen as well.  Even didn’t bother to polish the pen since it  is comparatively good condition.

clean used condition, Sheaffer crest snorkel  fountain pen in excellent working condition. we will be again inking the pen before shipping for testing purpose, but the pen will be dried and cleaned before shipping.
