Condition of the pen :

Pre-owned clean working,  clean appearance with some tear of wear of usage. the pen is perfectly working.  No damage to pen , no dents on barrel. writes between  medium point with no feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel.  No holding mark around barrel

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-     snug screw fitting,  no loose parts
Converter/Sac  to  nib section fitting :-    NA,  PFM pens has unique snorkel ink filling mechanism
Scratches :-    No deep or projected scratches. Pen has few hairline marks around nib section.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-     no dents on barrel or cap.
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap. Further on loop inspection we found no deep lines on barrel or section. still consider some hairline marks which is fair considering the the age and usage.
Colour :-   Barrel black colour is clear, no fading seen. overall clean colour appearance.
Cap :-       Snug fit.  pull cap is checked for grip  while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-        Fine point original sheaffer inlaid palladium silver nib is in place,  nib writes very smooth.
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing, due to cap weight .

Result of our inspection and testing:

The pen has no damage, including the nib. It has some usage marks on the barrel and cap, please refer to pictures published. The pen barrel is not polished and crack filled. The barrel is in good condition, with no major damages. gold trim including cap clip still maintaining of its plating. A well-maintained pen. Ink filling is in good condition, and it draws a good amount of ink. No leakage was found with the ink filling system. The nib section has a good grip on the cap, the inner cap is not loose, and the cap firmly thread fits on the nib section. Screw threads are in good condition. We wrote “ the quick brown fox…” sentence multiple times and the nib guided us very smoothly without any scratches or stops. We tried many lines towards all 4 directions and tried connected ‘S’ patterns. Everything is working very well for us. We have cleaned this pen with a premium pen flush.

Restoration details

No restoration done by us. The entire pen is original as it is manufactured.

Packing : Three layer packing is free. Pen will be packed in a very secure inner box, wrapped with a bubble/paper cushion roll, and covered with another layer foam , and again repacked with an outer carton.

Shipping partners : For Indian customers, we use speed post service of India post. Please note that we will declare the content as ‘used pen’ and the same will be displayed on the package.

Delivery time : Product will be shipped from Southern India, Kerala.
