Condition of the pen :

Pre-owned and  with  tear and  wear of previous ownership and usage . no major damage to pen , writes fine with very limited feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through sac and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel. Some Hairline marks are there on barrel from usage.  Overall, pen is in clean look and perfectly working.  Please read and agree to the condition of the pen which we found during our inspection.

Barrel to nib section fitting :- Screw fit type nib section, fits snug, no loose parts
Sac to nib section fitting :- Snug fit, mount point is not loose , no ink leaking
Scratches :- No deep, projected scratches. But there are some usage marks on the barrel and cap,  result of prolonged usage.  there some tiny black spots/rust on the chrome cap, But we will polish the metal parts to remove any noticeable rust marks.
Bents :- No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :- No visible deep dent on the pen, however there may be couple of tiny dings the cap, but do not consider this as a special condition which requires your attention. It falls under the general status ‘used’.
Crack :- No crack on body or cap. Further on loop inspection we did not find any crack filling by previous owner.
Colour :- Barrel navy blue colour is clear, no fading seen. chrome trim has no major brassing or deep scratches.
Cap :- Snug fit into nib section. Usually we lift the pen by holding only the cap to check the grip onto the barrel, and its perfect.
Nib :- The nib is sheaffer conical truimph F nib. ( This writes almost at Fine point, may be a little over F. we have smothered the nib to recover the nib from prolonged use. now the nib is smooth to all directions)
Cap Posting :- Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing.

Ink Filling :- The ink filling is working fine when we checked this pen multiple time. We have applied some silicon grease on the touchdown metal cylinder to make it smooth and to get a perfect air seal.

Restoration details

We have replaced the old latex ink sac with a new one.  Also the Oring (which does the air seal) has been changed.  We have polished the nib.  Otherwise the entire pen is original as it is manufactured.

We will be shipping the pen only after detailed testing. We will ink the pen to make sure its working. But pen will be cleaned and dried  before final packing. Important: Please note that you are buying an old fountain pen, possibly pre-owned and used by many owners. The pen is in good working condition. No original box, documents, or invoice was provided with this pen. This pen has usage marks on its body, please refer to our test & review result above. Restoration: Because the pen is a vintage item and possibly many hands exchanged, it arrived in our stock without an ink converter or a cartridge. We are providing an unused genuine sheaffer long ink cartridge on this pen. We have also fitted a vintage squeeze ink converter on this pen, but you need to know these converters are also pretty old, and they only draw only few drops of ink. the ink converter is not part of our offer, it is just a gift from us. for the sake of keeping the pen in its original form.

Refund & Return : If the instrument differs from the product description and inspection results we have provided above, then only we will accept a return (and issue a refund). Please only purchase the pen if you accept the details we have provided here on its condition. Please be aware that because this is a used pen, we are unable to issue a refund for wear and tear. In particular, We are unable to accept returns or provide refunds for the following:

1. It is a used pen
2. The pen has some usage wear.
3. The pen is provided with an ink cartridge. The vintage ink converter that is provided with the pen is not included in the offer. It’s a freebie.
4. The nib will have some wear depending on the age of the pen, but we have polished it to write without any scratches.

Packing, Shipping & Delivery

Packing : Three layer packing is free. Pen will be packed in a very secure inner box, wrapped with a bubble/paper cushion roll, and covered with another layer foam , and again repacked with an outer carton.

Shipping partners : For Indian customers, we use speed post service of India post. Please note that we will declare the content as ‘used pen’ and the same will be displayed on the package.

Delivery time : Product will be shipped from Southern India, Kerala. Though speed post maintains consistent quick delivery, There will be considerable delay in delivering items to far remote locations from Kerala. there will be added delivery delay to remote locations like Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Uttarakhand, Mizoram.
