vintage watermans 503 lever filler pen with 14CT gold F nib. 1940-1950 England made. Pre-owned and used condition. The pen has tear n wear, but it works perfectly without any major damage.

Condition of the pen :

Well used, with  tear of wear marks of usage on barrel and cap, in perfectly working condition (nib and ink filling) . No major damage to pen , no dents on barrel. writes medium  point with no feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel.  No holding mark around barrel

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-     snug fitting,  no loose parts
Sac  to  nib section fitting :-    Snug fit, sac is in perfect condition , no ink leaking
Scratches :-    No deep, projected scratches. There are hairline scratches result of usage, consider the age,  the pen is surprisingly clean condition.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-     no dents on barrel or cap.
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap. Further on loop inspection we did not find any crack filling by previous owner.
Colour :-   Barrel colour is clean,  not that clear on some area, but no deep fading seen. Cap  appears little fading,  the clip has some brassing on it.
Cap :-       Snug fit.  screw cap is checked for grip  while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-        Medium original waterman  14CT nib is in place,  nib writes very smooth, with natural use transition,  there are no grinding goes to nib, It writes well within F ~ M  size.
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing, due to cap weight .

Restoration details

The pen is in its original condition perfectly working.  The ink sac has the ‘watermans’  All other parts are original watermans only,  no alteration done.

Packing: Three-layer packing is free. The pen will be packed the gift pen box, wrapped with a bubble roll, and covered with another layer foam , and again repacked with cartons.

Shipping partners: We use India speed Service (Air mode) to deliver within India. We are not working with any other logistics partners (such as bluedart) for time being. You will be able to track the progress shipment through the India post official website.

For international shipments, We can only send the item through India post international regular mail service, no express shipping (such as DHL or FedEx) to destinations outside India. Please note India post international regular mail service shipping delay will be 21 + days for destinations outside India.
