Condition of the pen :

Fairly used, with limited, un-noticeable tear and wear of usage. no major damage to pen ,  no dents on barrel. writes with fine tip with no feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel. The acrylic grey green barrel colour  is perfect, and transparent ink window is clean and clear.  No holding mark around barrel.

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-     pull fit,  snug fitting, no a loose parts
ink sac  to  nib section fitting :-    Snug fit, inc sac sealing perfect on nib section , no ink leaking
Scratches :-    No deep, projected scratches. There are no hairline scratches result of usage.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-     No dent at all.
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap. Further on loop inspection we did not find any crack filling by previous owner.
Colour :-   Barrel colour is clear, no fading seen. Cap also appears to be gently handled, no major colour changes.
Cap :-      Screw cap.  screw cap is checked for grip  while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-       The nib is a replacement. Newly gold plated Pilot F steel nib is in place,  nib writes smooth Fine tip, with natural use transition, nib is not grinded, in original conditional.
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing, due to cap weight .

Restoration details

Nib :-   The nib is replaced  to Pilot golden F nib for better writing.  the original ‘superpoint’ nib was completely damaged, was not in a reparable position.
Ink Sac :-   Atikcart has refitted a brand new inc sac
Barrel :-    no polishing and buffing done to barrel.  in original condition

Clip:-     Cap clip is the original fitted by ‘university’  J Harris and Co.

Clean used condition vintage uniersity lever filler fountain pen,  will be shipped only after detailed testing. We will ink the pen to make sure its working. But pen will be cleaned and dried  before final packing.
