vintage lilys 2-in-1 fountain pen and ballpoint pen  combo with plated F nib. Pen is in perfect working condition. with some shop wear on barrel. Circa 1960-70.

Condition of the pen :

Unused but with shop wear, with some shop handling tear of wear of shop storage. no major damage to pen , no dents on barrel. writes fine point with no feed-back. nib is smooth.   No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through nib and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel. The barrel comparatively looks clean.  The section thread area has some holding mark, considering and age and use, the holding mark looks natural.

the pen will have natural ‘shop wear’ , result of multiple  ‘man-handling’ of many shop owners exchanged or traded them.  but the pen is unused by an actual end-user, never inked.

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-     snug fitting,  no loose parts
Cartrdige  to  nib section fitting :-    Snug fit, cartrdige is in perfect condition, no ink leaking
Scratches :-    No deep, projected scratches. There are some hairline scratches result of shop storage. ther minor hair line marks from shops handling,  called ‘shop wear’.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-     no dents on barrel or cap.
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap.
Colour :-   Barrel colour is clear, no fading seen.
Cap :-       Snug fit.  pull cap is checked for grip  while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-        Pelikan steel fine nib is in place,  nib writes very smooth, the flow is excellent.
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing, due to cap weight .

Restoration details

The pen is in the original condition. No restoration from our side.

unused,  shop handled condition,  W. germany lily’s  fountain pen and ballpoint combo  in perfect working condition. we will be again inking the pen before shipping for testing purposes, but the pen will be dried and cleaned before shipping.

Important:  this is a very special pen. it has got both interchangeable units of fountain pen and a ballpoint pen. Please have a look at the picture where we have disassembled this pen.  this combo pen accepts only small ink cartridges for fountain pen and mini refills for the ballpoint.
