Vintage sheaffer statesman lever fill fountain pen in perfect used working condition, with sheaffer feather touch 14K medium nib. Pen is 1940 circa,  but still maintains perfect looks and works very well.  Made in USA.

Condition of the pen :

well used, with limited tear and  wear. no major damage to pen , nib writes medium point with very limited feed-back. No patches or fixes done by antikcart. Ink not leaking through sac and feed, we have tested the pen with  light taps on tail end while the nib is face down, ink does not spill. No teeth or chew marks on barrel. few Hairline marks are there on barrel from usage.  Ink filling is perfectly working fine.  Overall, pen writes and working and is in clean look.

 

Barrel to  nib section fitting :-   push fit type nib section, fits snug, no loose parts
Sac  to  nib section fitting :-    Perfectly fitted, mount point is not loose , no ink leaking.
Scratches :-    No deep, projected scratches. There are usage marks on the barrel, result of these years of use since it has been manufactured, but all marks are acceptable for a vintage pen collector.
Bents :-    No visible bent to barrel or cap
Dents :-    No visible dent on the pen
Crack :-    No crack on body or cap. Further, on loop inspection, we did not find any crack filling by the previous owner.
Colour :-   Barrel marbled colour is clear, no fading seen.
Cap :-       Screw fit. Checked for grip capacity while clipped in shirt pocket.
Nib :-       Original sheaffer feather touch USA 14K solid gold M nib  in place, writes wet smooth.
Cap Posting :-    Yes, well balanced while posted, nib dont miss while writing.

Restoration details

Antikcart has done zero restoration to this pen,  The pen was supplied to us in working condition, including a properly filling ink sac fitted.
